Clegg Industries manufactured a new specialty trailer for training rescue workers who deal with grain engulfment and entrapment rescue situations for The University of Kansas' (KU).
KU offers critical Grain Engulfment Rescue training, primarily through its Fire & Rescue Training Institute (KFRTI), providing hands-on instruction and mobile simulators to rural firefighters and grain workers across Kansas, teaching vital skills like using rescue tubes (coffer dams) to safely extract victims from deadly grain entrapments, often in partnership with organizations like the Grain Handling Safety Council and Nationwide.
Clegg Industries designed and fabricated the entire system utilizing an all steel 48 ft. step deck trailer as the foundation.

- Rooftop training area with all steel safety rail system and access to both bins
- Rear storage area for stairs transport and other equipment
- Remote control for rooftop grain bin operation
