Army Mobile Instrument Support VehicleThe
Mobile Instrument Support Vehicle was built by Clegg Industries for the U.S. Army
and is used in testing missions of the U.S. Army Field Artillery Board, Fort Sills,
Oklahoma. The vehicle is a self-contained unit with accommodations for several
personnel as well as various types of equipment. Special features of
the vehicle include a rear equipment lift, two 15KW generators, two hundred feet
of power cable for shorepower access and an electric or manual cable reel for
quick and easy reloading of power cables. It also has custom cabinet work for
computer accommodations and a custom antenna platform on the roof. In
May 1988, Clegg Industries completed and delivered this vehicle to Fort Sills,
