Clegg Industries builds specialty vehicles, specialty trailers, specialty structures, and custom fabrication in our Victoria, TX shop. Every build is custom. Nothing on our project pages is in stock. Each one was built for a client with a job to do.
Our project pages show more than 70 specialty vehicles, 140 specialty trailers, and 60 specialty structures. We have built for every branch of the U.S. military, federal agencies, defense contractors, and NASA’s space shuttle program since 1979. When you call us, a person picks up.
Command centers, mobile labs, mobile clinics, SWAT vans, ATM vans, and bookmobiles. We build on light vehicles, heavy trucks, and motor home chassis. We can also rework the vehicle you already own.
Gooseneck, fifth-wheel, bumper-pull, tractor-trailer, and flatbed trailers. We build command trailers, mobile labs, hazmat response trailers, machine shop trailers, and helicopter transport trailers.
Modified 20-foot and 40-foot shipping containers, mil-spec electronic shelters, blast-resistant offices, guard booths, bunkhouses, and modular buildings. We have built modules for an Antarctic traverse.
One-off steel and aluminum work that doesn’t fit a category. That includes radar antenna carts, test stands, radome frames, and skid-mounted generators.
Most builders do one part of the job. One company builds the box. Another does the electrical. A third does the cabinets. You end up managing all of them.
Clegg does it all in one shop. Our crew does the welding, metal work, wiring, HVAC, generators, cabinets, computers, and paint. You get one contract, one team, and one quality program.
Our shop is 20,000 square feet. It is set up to build big things from raw metal.

We also build the systems that go inside. Some clients manage their own build and only need these parts from us.
We build for the military, federal agencies, defense contractors, and NASA’s space shuttle program. We also build for sheriff’s offices, fire departments, schools and universities, clinics, banks, and industrial companies.
We build for desert heat and arctic cold. We wire to U.S. or foreign power standards, based on where the job is headed.
